Evaluation question 1: use, challenge, develop

Use:

I have used the word 'contents' as the biggest thing on my page as it stands out to the audience and automatically guides them around my magazine. I have also put the pictures big, and not used that many so that the audience can also see clearer what the magazine is about. The script style contents list is a little different. I put my editors letter on the right hand side of the page so that it stands out to people, and it makes them want to read it.

Develop:
I didn't use any magazines to get my ideas from for the contents page of my magazine, however i did look at magazines to look at the layout. Many magazines that I looked at were the same layout. The contents was in a normal list and it looked very boring, seeing as though my magazine is RnB and very unique, I thought id change the stereotypical magazine to be different and a style of my own. The pictures being tilted also give the RnB theme to the magazine.

Challenge:

I have used a script style contents list which is very different for an RnB magazine. the name of the magazine being faded in the background also stands out and is very different. A lot of the things that I have done I have done as it is an RnB magazine, and the audience for this magazine will be unique, independent and have there own style of clothes/attitude/personality etc. I have tried to focus on these main parts and challenge my magazine using them.
